Even the Prismacolor pencils failed me in planning the colors for round 7. Maybe part of the problem was that I didn't particularly favor or dislike any of the options I tried. I started out using purple and yellow, but I really didn't like it. It's a simple round that will be quick to tat, so I decided to experiment with the actual threads.
Having just downloaded CollageITfree to my Mac, I put the images side by side to help me make up my mind.
Viewed this way, the last two appeal to me the most. I'm going with the yellow and green, though. I like the brightness it brings to the doily at this point. So now it's time to cut all of these experiments off, reload the shuttle, and start again.
UPDATE: So after all of that, I've decided to wait until I see the next round before doing anything at all about this one. Now that you've had a glimpse into how my mind works, you probably wonder how I manage to get anything done.

I love the yellow but I can understand waiting. It's a bit of a trust issue but as you say, everything she's done is gorgeous. I'm taking my color advice from the recipient. She's very sure about everything!
I like the yellow and green, but I'm sure I'll like whatever you choose!
Seeing the 3 collaged together, I decided to first guess which you might have chosen or which I would have chosen) before reading further. It matched ! I chose the yellow one too :-)
Tatting with single colour has rid me of all these choices this time ;-P If you search for Wiosna in my blog, you will see the all the various decisions I had to take last year, and the final round is probably the only one of it's kind in the whole lace world ;-)
Oh, and I am using it ...
If you use an orange color put a royal blue with it and it will look awesome.
Thank you all for your input. muskaan, that is such an insightful series of posts about color! Thank you so much for sharing it with me. I'm so glad I read it. I love that the use for which you intended that doily allows you to enjoy both looks.
I think that choosing the colours is part of the fun, so experiment all you like! It was interesting to see your different options and I look forward to seeing what you decide on. I like the way the yellow links back to the first round.
Love the colors. I like them all. Choosing what colors go together is one of my problems. I envy those who can make colors work.
Thanks, Jane and Sharon. I start by choosing colors that look good together, and consider their future location if I know it. It just gets so much harder deciding which one to use when.
I am sure whatever you decide will be wonderful!!! :)
I was having the exact same problem, but have made the decision and only have about 1/4 to finish.
Good for you, God's Kid.
