I'm committed to finishing some, if not all, of these this year. Some can be completed without a great deal of effort, while others could take weeks or months. I'm also sure I won't be able to resist the urge to tat up some other projects now and then, but I want to keep coming back to this group.
So help me stay focused! Don't be reluctant to ask me now and then how the Y18 UFO Project is progressing. I can report that I added about 3 inches to the Konior Clover edging today (bottom right corner). This is the runner edging you've seen me refer to as the 'monster edging.' I'm too far along with the size 80 thread to turn back.
Happy tatting!

Sounds like and excellent thing to do, we will try to keep you on task 😀
Good to get organised at the start of the year!
We can encourage each other! Yesterday, I sorted through a fabric bin of beads and threads. I can actually see what I have now! I've already thrown out two UFOs that I couldn't identify, and I am thrilled that I found a Spinning Wheel glass mat that I knew I had started but couldn't locate. Keep going with that edging!
Great idea! So, how about a picture of the monster edging?
Great idea! I look forward to seeing your finished projects.
Thank you all. I really appreciate the encouragement.
Hooray, Diane. I shall encourage you. It's nice to know someone else is working on the same goal. I, too was surprised at some of the pieces I discovered. Found lots of those missing shuttles, too.
Michelle, my next post will include another picture of the monster edging.
Great idea !!!! If only I wasn't so scared of applying it to my Mount Everest-high pile of UFOs (not just lace, but also blogging, tutorials, presentations, ......) ---I'd go into a stupefied depression ;-P
Be sure that I'll be prodding you, too.
And I agree that "Over the Rainbow" should be adopted as a tatters'/crafters' anthem :-D
I am sure you will finish many of these UFOs, it may look like a mountain if work but you will get the pike down in time
Thank you, Margaret and muskaan.
Muskaan, I didn't dare add any of those other to-dos. I'd have drowned under the weight. LOL No, I'm taking baby steps here. And I've put that song on my tatting playlist. ;)
Great encouragement for others to join!! :) I am hoping to work on some of mine also, but have so many other plans and distractions that I am not sure about getting anything done. ;)
God's Kid, i discarded a lot of projects to get it down to this list or it would be much harder. I tat because I enjoy it and finishing some of my UFOs wasnt going to be pleasurable. A big plus was that those shuttles and threads I like are now back in their bins so I can use them on other projects.
