The piece I've chosen as my next WIP Wednesday project is a handkerchief edging that I started back in the middle of 2011. Diane the Lace-Lovin' Librarian gave me this beautiful handkerchief. I started Mary Konior's Beaded Braid, Tatting with Visual Patterns, page 9. Tatting went into hibernation for a good while and, by the time I was puttering at it at least, I had misplaced the project. I found it again just a few weeks ago.

Latest WIP Wednesday Project
Kersti's Craftree WIP Wednesday challenge is great incentive to pull out some UFOs (unfinished objects). Just committing to working on the last one every Wednesday kept it in my mind so that it got picked up more often than that.

Pretty and ambitious!
Very nice!
Has it been that long since I gave away hankies? I guess I should pull mine out and finish it as well!
Betting that your edging is going to be gorgeous!!! :)
Beautiful, and in such dainty thread too! It's going to be spectacular.
Thank you all so much for the encouragement. I've taken the time to assess where I am and what I need to do next. Diane, that you haven't finished yours either makes me feel slightly better. I had hoped to show you the finished handkerchief long before now.
Such a pretty handkerchief & lace ! Lovely colour :-)
That is a beautiful hankie, and the thread will be perfect. Looking forward to seeing this develop.
Thanks, muskaan and Suztats. I was thrilled to discover at the time that I had thread on hand that perfectly matched the embroidery on the handkerchief.
