I tatted these two hearts yesterday. The one on the right is Little Bit of My Heart by Dan the Tatman. The other one is Vicki Clarke's Ruffled Heart. I had a little trouble with the ruffled chains in Vicki's pattern. My stitches wanted to twist around rather than ruffle, especially on the 2nd chain.

Pretty thread! I guess it is time to tat a few hearts!
I've been thinking of trying Vicki Clarke's heart. Maybe I'll give it a try.
...I love them both...they are on my list... like your threaed ;))...
Hi Eliz, I should be tatting hearts too as it is February! I have made the ruffled heart before but have not seen the second one "Little Bit of my Heart"... it does not appear to be on Tatman's website... is it from a book? Thank you!
Both look beautiful!!! :)
And I really love them in the watermelon color!!! :)
I agree with Diane, time to tat a few hearts! Having never tried "Little Bit of My Heart" by Dan the Tatman I went "Googling" but did not find a link to the pattern. Could you point me in the right direction?
(maybe I need a URL to search the Wayback Machine links...)
Your hearts are so pretty in that thread! Makes me think of summertime, not icy, blustery Old Man Winter. Yessirree, it is definitely time to tat a few hearts!
These are both so beautiful, Eliz! Would you mind telling me, where I can find the pattern of the wright heart of Dan, I didn't succeed...
Thank you
Pretty!
I received the pattern by email in April of 2002, but I'm sure it was on the internet at the time. I'm sorry that I don't have the web address. I didn't save them back then, not realizing how useful they might be later. I do believe the designer's real name may be Daniel Rusch-Fisher, the Dan of the tribbler.com/tatman webpages. You might try getting hold of Dan through his webpage or his blog to see if he is willing to make the pattern available again.
Love the heart
Very nice!
