couple of motif bookmarks
It has been a long time since I tatted Sarah's First Bookmark so I made myself one in my favorite Manuela variegated thread. Then I decided that Fox's Abigail motif would make a great motif bookmark as well. I apologize, Fox, for messing it up on my first try. I repeated the clover instead of the large ring as I rounded the top. I was at the beginning of the next clover before I realized what I had done so I decided to continue anyway.

Those are so pretty! I really like the idea of taking a pretty motif and using it for a bookmark. I tend to fizzle when I'm tatting the last half of a long bookmark. Such beautiful colors in that thread!

Well, I must say, that does look pretty snazzy! : ))
Bookmark is a great idea...
Fox : )
very nice job, and Abigail looks nice with a clover on top :) those rings are soooo hard to take out once you do them, so kudos for completing the project anyhow, it still makes a beautiful bookmark :)
Thanks for the kind remarks. The only thing I find I have to be careful about with motif bookmarks is to keep the tassel or tail thin. Otherwise you get too much bulk in the book.
Both look really nice!!! :)
Your Abigail bookmark really does shine with your embellishment. Bellissima!
