A little tatting and a little blog reading

As you can see, I managed to add a round to Renulek's Spring doily, but I'm still way behind. I'm content with that, though, because it gives me room to better plan the colors.

I'm struggling to keep up with blog reading as I love seeing what the rest of you are doing, but it's a busy time of year here at home. I'm getting a little bit done now and then on the Concentric Rectangles Doily and the test tat for Jennifer by carting them around everywhere I go, but I'm just not getting much computer time. Keep the tatting and blogging going. Things will slow a bit starting next week, I think. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying time with my family.

Happy Tatting!

The doily is lovely! I'm looking forward to seeing your choices on the following rounds. It is amazing how much time is taken looking at blogs! But I love seeing what everyone is doing.

Just beautiful and that makes good sense to be behind a round or two I agree that it helps with colors, I only am playing with two and wonder about things. And I got some tatting done while getting the oil changed in the car :) that took 2 hours. I do fear leaving it somewhere :( but this seems to be a busy summer for me too I understand if you don't read all the blogs or mine :) it's okay sorta ha ha ha

Your progress on the doily is wonderful! Isn't it amazing how much tatting we can accomplish just by carting it around everywhere and doing a little bit here and a little bit there? Yes, reading blogs is time-consuming. However, I keep telling myself that I would get far less accomplished if I were to meet all my tatting friends in person as often as I "meet" them online!

The colours you've chosen for your doily look wonderful together. It's a beauty. Enjoy your family time-- it's precious.

Looking fantastic! It's not always easy to get the balance right between creating, reading blogs and living life, you just do the best you can at the time.

Very pretty :-)) Makes me want to take up colours.
Totally agree about bloghopping ... and if one adds an erratic/slow internet connection to the mix, think of the additional time spent :-(
I know my blog is one you have left for later (don't blame you at all - what with the boring length of each post) ;-P
Have a great time :-)))
